About Us

Lakelands FC is a community based club in the Stillorgan/Dundrum area dedicated to youth football. The club formed in the mid 1970’s when Lakelands Estate on the Upper Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan entered an under 12’s team to the community games in Mosney.
Today we cater for players aged 5 to 17. Our 11 a-side games (Under 11 and older) are played in Leopardstown Park (near the Leopardstown Inn) and in Bearna Park (in Sandyford Village). Our 7 a-side (U7s and U8s) also play in Leopardstoen Park and our 9 a-side games (U9 and U10) are played in St. John of God’s on the Stillorgan Road. Our teams play on Sunday mornings in the DDSL (Dublin District Schoolboy League) and the SDSL (South Dublin Schoolboy League).
Each team also has a training session every week on the all-weather pitch in St.Killians International School in Clonskeagh. Although Lakelands Football Club is run on a voluntary basis, it needs a code of practice to make sure soccer is enjoyed by all players and to maintain a good level of standards and ethics. With this in mind players and their parents/guardians should take note the following:
